Jon Gosselin won temporary custody of Collin in December and Hannah in May. Since gaining custody, a Pennsylvania court insider has said Kate has been “relatively quiet,” according to the RadarOnline.com report. Kate has not filed to regain custody of 15-year-old, Collin, or 15-year-old, Hannah.
The source also added, “Kate has made no attempt to see or speak with Collin. [She] rarely sees or talks with Hannah, but they do have some contact.”
“Jon allows [Hannah] to go over anytime she wants, but Kate never asks her to come.”
Jon had initially fought for custody of Collin after Kate send him to a live in a facility following what she called “behavioral issues.” Collin was living there until Jon won custody. While there, Kate did not visit Collin and, according to reports, Collin “didn’t want to see her.”
Jon and Kate went through a nasty divorce in 2009 and Jon had previously had very little contact with his eight children until getting custody of Collin and Hannah.
Collin and Hannah began high school on Monday and have been in good spirits according to reports. Jon shared a picture of the smiling teenagers, saying, “FRESHMAN!!! 9th Grade Wow!!! I can’t believe it!! Good luck to Hannah and Collin this year!!! Today marks their first day of high school!!!! I hope all my kids have a wonderful year in high school this year and have greet experiences!!! Love all of you!!!

When I’m not hanging out with my three-year-old and husband in Brooklyn, I’m busy writing stories for Mamas Uncut and managing PR + Marketing for Magnolia Bakery, based in New York City. On weekends, you can usually find me at a local park or playground pushing my daughter on the swings, “researching” the best almond croissants in Park Slope or launching into impromptu family dance parties at home, the sidewalk or, every once in awhile, a restaurant bathroom. I’m still trying to master the whole parenting thing, but I have learned that copious amounts of coffee, humor and humility are involved on a daily basis.
Mamas Uncut is THE online place for moms. We cover the latest about motherhood, parenting, and entertainment as well – all with a mom-focused twist. So if you're looking for parenting advice from real parents, we have plenty of it, all for moms from moms, and also experts. Because, at the end of the day, our mission is focused solely on empowering moms and moms-to-be with the knowledge and answers they’re looking for in one safe space.
