If your mom hosted one of the most successful daytime talk shows and you had the opportunity to be serenaded by Coldplay’s Chris Martin during that talk show, what would you do? Well in Kelly Clarkson’s son’s case, he would steal the show.
In a promotion for the newest season of her daytime talk show, Kelly Clarkson shared a snippet from one of her upcoming shows. The snippet featured her two children, daughter 7-year-old River Rose and 5-year-old Remington Alexander, and also Coldplay’s Chris Martin.

In the video, shared on Twitter, Kelly Clarkson, her daughter, her son, and Martin are seen singing Coldplay’s Yellow while they all sing along. Everyone seems into it until Remington got hit with the feeling you just can’t ignore.
“I need to go to the bathroom,” Remington said to the ground as Martin is playing the guitar. “Me too,” Martin quips as Clarkson and River Rose lose themselves in a laugh.

For most of the past several months, Clarkson and her family have been in the headline due to her recent divorce from the father of her two children, Brandon Blackstock. As reports suggested, the divorce took quite an emotional toll on Clarkson.
When she first announced her divorce, Clarkson revealed that she was trying to do what is right for her kids. “We have a lot of help as far as therapists or child psychologists because we want to do it right. I definitely want to do it right. Everyone’s sad and it’s okay to be sad.”
“It’s just one day when you’re like, ‘Wow, this has forever changed and it’s not just my heart has changed, there’s other little hearts, too,” Clarkson went on to admit to her The Voice co-host, Gwen Stefani. She also admitted that it’s been hard to deal with the divorce as a public figure and “at the same time protecting these little kids you adore.”
Thankfully, it seems like Clarkson and her little ones are doing just fine. And the laughter between them certainly has not stopped!
