Kim Kardashian West Admits She Had to Photoshop Her Oldest Child North Into Their Family Christmas Card

The Ellen DeGeneres Show

For the first time in several years, the Kardashian-Jenner family has decided to forego their annual family Christmas card. Instead, each individual family within the Kardashian-Jenner crew have captured their own holiday card to send to their loved ones and share with their fans.

However, as Kim Kardashian West has since revealed, getting the perfect shot for her and Kanye‘s Christmas card almost did happen. Kim and Kanye are the proud parents of four children, all of whom are under the age of 7.

Having Four Kids Under 7 Made It Difficult for Kim Kardashian to Get the Perfect Christmas Card

While on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kim explained how difficult it was to capture the rather low-key family Christmas card. “[It] was so dramatic. It’s the most anxiety to get four kids together smiling in a room.”

And it got even more dramatic when her oldest child, 6-year-old North refused to participate in the photo. “North was having a day, so she refused to be in the shoot. She just was crying because she wanted her specific hairstyle, whatever.”

So instead of putting up with her daughter’s attitude, they took the picture without North. However, it all turned out okay when North woke up the next morning and said that she wanted to take a photoshoot with just her mom.

“Thank god the photographer was still in town. She said, ‘I just want a photoshoot with just you.’ So I said, ‘Perfect,’ I called the photographer, had her come over. I said, ‘I have no makeup on now, I look totally different. Let’s just pretend — shoot us, but cut me out and you’ll photoshop her in.’ And it looks like a beautiful card.”

She’s not kidding, if you didn’t know North was photoshopped you would have never known.

The mom-of-four then admitted “there’s always one” child who’s not willing to cooperate. That’s when Ellen joked that she would have kept North out just to teach her a lesson.

But for real, could Kim’s Christmas card story be any more relatable?
