Kim Zolciak Biermann is singing her husband’s praise for saving their son not once but twice from choking.
Biermann recounted the scary event(s) in light of Kroy Biermann winning the “Certificate of Extraordinary Personal Action” award from Red Cross.
“Remember my post a few months back where my incredible husband @kroybiermann saved our son’s life?!!! Not once but twice in 10 days?” Biermann began the post.
“Yes you know I had his expander in his mouth removed at 7:30 am the next morning! Yup, I’m one of those !! Just in case it was that. We went to an endocrinologist (one of the best in the country) had the whole scope down the throat thing etc ..to put our mind at ease) we saw several doctors and the bottom line was eating too fast, swallowing wrong whatever it was @kjbiermann was CHOKING! Bright red, scared and he was panicking!
“Me …well I started… Yelling at Kroy…. PLEASE HELP PLEASE!!! Kroy immediately started the Heimlich and honestly I expected him to do it once MAX twice … but he HAD to do it several times before that damn mozzarella stick dislodged!”
“I fell to my knees and thanked God more then I can even count.”
“This literally happened 2x in 10 days but the second time being much worse. We immediately called the Red Cross and scheduled a CPR/ Heimlich refresher for me, my family and staff. It’s truly so important.”
“Kroy was honored yesterday by the Red Cross and given a “Certificate of Extraordinary Personal Action” which is a huge honor. I want to thank my husband for being our hero not just these 2 days but everyday!! I want to thank every single person that has stepped up in a situation like this at any place and anytime.”
