Can the internet just leave Kourtney Kardashian alone? On another installment of the internet getting mad at moms for simply being moms, Kourtney Kardashian is being mom-shamed for taking her kids on vacation with her. The trolls are just exhausting.
Last week, Kourtney posted beautiful photos to her Instagram of her and her family enjoying a trip to Finland. The response by some was apparently outrage at Kourtney for taking Mason, Penelope, and Reign on a vacation.

Kourtney took the trip with her kids last spring, but the trip was part of the latest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. She posted the photos to coincide with the episode so fans could get an inside look.
They stayed at the Arctic TreeHouse, which is a modern hotel in the middle of the woods on a lake. Apparently one of the activities was jumping in the frozen lake followed by a trip to the sauna. Sounds very cold to us!
What’s apparently made people upset is that she took the trip with her ex, Scott Disick, and his girlfriend, Sofia Ritchie. Kourtney probably just wanted to make the trip more enjoyable for the kids by inviting their dad, but alas, opinions. And people have a lot of opinions about this trip.
The first dose of shame came in the form of a top comment on Instagram.
Ugh. Must we?
In fact, the trip took place over the kids’ break from school. Put that aside, it’s not exactly impossible to get schoolwork in advance and approval from teachers for an absence.
If you had the time and money to take your family on a once-in-a-lifetime vacation to see the northern lights, what would you do?
Kourtney gave a diplomatic response.
She makes it look so easy. Yes, it was Spring break, but there’s more to it. Traveling with kids and letting them experience different places, languages, and cultures is hugely educational. Good on you, Kourt!
Luckily, many people agreed with her in the comments saying, “traveling is hands on learning, sights and experiences outside of books,” and, “traveling as a family teaches them so many things… nature, science, family values and so much more.”
Just look at all the natural beauty the kids got to enjoy.
As you can see, the kids got to experience a lot on the trip to Finland including the northern lights. Magical! And, educational!
