Krispy Kreme Times Square opened as a flagship experience store in New York City, on the corner of Broadway and West 48th Street, offering fresh doughnuts 24/7!
The flagship store is the first of its kind and a whopping 4500 square feet of sweetness. It offers a front-row seat to see how the doughnuts are made. Throughout Krispy Kreme Times Square, there is plenty of doughnut themed merchandise and a stadium seating area (although this is temporarily closed due to the pandemic). The store also has free paper hats and plenty of helpful staff too.

Inside the Krispy Kreme Times Square Store
Walking through the doors, the store immediately draws you into the process of making a Krispy Kreme doughnut. Through glass, you can see the doughnut makers creating donuts from start to finish. The most exciting part of the experience is definitely the glaze waterfall. Donuts roll on a conveyor belt directly under a cascading waterfall of the signature Krispy Kreme glaze. Then they come down in a spiral conveyor belt right before your eyes and are put into boxes or onto trays for customers to purchase.
The Good Stuff
Only available at the Krispy Kreme Times Square location, the most buzzed-about item is the exclusive Big Apple doughnut. It’s a large plain round doughnut filled with a fresh apple-flavored creme and a pearly red mirror glaze on top. It’s also decorated with a small royal icing green leaf and pretzel stick stem. It comes in a green souvenir box and is priced at $10.99. The doughnut looks beautiful and is photo-worthy. If you want a cool photo of a doughnut you can only get at this New York location and the box, then go for it. It tastes good too, as do the other standard priced doughnut varieties.
Want more sweetness? The store has so many delicious doughnuts to choose from, including the Original Glazed, iced, filled, and seasonal flavors. You can purchase boxes of three, six or a dozen, as well as mini doughnuts. The blueberry and pumpkin spice glazed cake doughnuts are especially tasty. There is also a Reese’s Classic filled donut that is wonderful if you like chocolate and peanut butter creme. Additionally, they offer a variety of hot and cold coffee and feature an Original Glazed flavored coffee too.

If you plan on visiting the new store during a weekend or busy time, Krispy Kreme Times Square allows you to make a reservation here. They also offer donuts via a pickup window 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also order some items on their site and pick them up at the pickup window if you are in a hurry.
