It’s refreshing to see what wonderful co-parents Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott continue to be to their 2-year-old daughter Stormi.
The former couple, who split in October 2019, happily celebrated their little girl’s big day together with a party themed called “Stormi World.”
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star recently opened up to Harper’s Bazaar about her and Scott’s close bond despite ending their romantic relationship.
Kylie Jenner Talks Co-Parenting With Her Best Friend Travis Scott
“We have such a great relationship. We’re like best friends,” shared Kylie. “We both love Stormi and want what’s best for her. We stay connected and coordinated.”
The beauty mogul credits her own parents for showing her how to be an involved mother. “I think about [my parents] in situations with Stormi, what they would do. They were very hands-on with me, and I want the same for Stormi.”
Of course, the mama-of-one has to deal with the added pressures of constant media attention. She continued, telling Harper’s Bazaar:
“I think about it a lot because the world is just so crazy now. Exposing her to all of the negativity that comes with the internet, I think about that too. I’m just trying my best, even though she’s still little, to remind her how blessed we are and that this isn’t normal, the way we live. It’s just our life.”
Jenner added, “People want to take pictures. I think she would feel differently if I was always covering her face like, ‘Don’t look!'”
While there are challenges that come with being a celebrity parent, Kylie says the support of her family keeps her grounded. “We all keep each other in check and support each other. I have their support, and I can always run to my mom or my dad or my sisters, and they all know what we’re going through.”
And when it comes to baby number two, she admitted she definitely feels the pressure to grow her family, but there are currently no plans to do that.
