Singer, songwriter, fashion icon, and actor Lady Gaga is reportedly ready for kids and looking to do it alone. Gaga has won nine Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, three Brit Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, thirteen MTV Video Music Awards, so we’re pretty sure she knows a thing or two about hard work and that’s one of the main qualities of being a great mom.
The right guy or gal hasn’t come along for Gaga, so she’s allegedly considering adoption or surrogacy as well as raising children on her own. She’s definitely passionate about children and has donated money and been vocal about keeping kids safe in their schools and communities.
Is Lady Gaga looking to become a mother soon?
According to reporting from Radar, a source was quoted saying, “She had an epiphany in the hospital, after she and a fan fell off stage in Las Vegas.” As one does.
“She got very emotional getting her whole body x-rayed. She has everything she wants in the world, but she’s missing someone to leave her legacy to,” the source continued.

Recently, Gaga allegedly told friends that she wants to adopt.
Radar doesn’t have any of her friends on record, but they claim that Gaga has told people she’s close to that she wants kids via adoption or surrogacy.
“She comes from a strong family and that’s always been something she wants,” the single source added.
The reporting around this is a bit spotty, but it wouldn’t be the first time the superstar has spoken about wanting children.
In 2019, Gaga told Allure, “My mom is beautiful from the inside out. What a rare thing,” she said. “I really hope that when I have maybe a little girl one day, or a little boy, and they see Mommy put her makeup on, that they have the same experience that I did. That’s the greatest gift of all, when you can connect with your parents.”
She was speaking about her mother, makeup, and kids. But, she also talks about the ways parents and children connect with one another.
She also spoke to a beauty blogger about her plans for the next decade and having kids was on the list.
During a video interview with beauty vlogger and YouTube star, NikkieTutorials, Gaga talked about her plans for the next decade. She said, “More music, not retiring any time soon… all kinds of different music. I wanna do more movies, I wanna have babies, and I want to continue to build the behemoth that is Haus Laboratories into the makeup company of my dreams.”
There it is, right there: “I wanna have babies.”
We didn’t see or read anything in these comments about adoption, but let’s not take that off the table.
Although Gaga has gone on the record about wanting “babies,” she hasn’t talked about surrogacy or adoption specifically. We hope she weighs all of her options and chooses the right method for her.
We think Gaga would make an excellent mom! Let’s remember though, her comments on the record were in regard to her next decade of life. That could be this year or nine years from now. So don’t hold your breath for Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta to have any ‘little monsters’ any time soon.
