The autopsy of Lindsey Pearlman has been completed after her body was discovered in a vehicle Friday near the entrance of Runyon Canyon Park in Hollywood, California.
The General Hospital actor, who was just 43 at the time of her death, was listed as the same day that her body was discovered near a popular hiking trail.

The cause and manner of her death have yet to be released by Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner as the case has been deferred pending further investigation, People reported.
Before the discovery of her body, Pearlman had been reported missing since February 13 and she was last seen at 9:00 PM local time in Los Angeles, her family and friends said.

On Thursday, her cousin, Savannah Pearlman, tweeted that the former Empire actor’s phone was last pinged on Sunset Blvd.
The Twitter thread later informed followers that her cousin had been found but “it was too late.”

As MamasUncut reported, Pearlman’s husband, Vance Smith, confirmed her death on Instagram. “The police found Lindsey. She’s gone,” he wrote on Friday. “I’m broken.”
Following the discovery of the body, a representative for Pearlman also released a statement.
“We are deeply saddened by Lindsey Pearlman’s passing today,” the statement provided by Michael Chiaverini read. “The family has asked for privacy during this difficult time while they process and grieve.”
Pearlman appeared on numerous TV series throughout her career. Most recently audiences saw her in Vicious, The Ms. Pat Show, Selena: The Series, and General Hospital.
Of the many friends and family that searched for Pearlman, one notable celebrity friend, Elaine Hendrix from Dynasty, was very committed to finding the actor. “Thank you to everyone who shared Lindsey’s missing person report” Hendrix tweeted after the body was discovered.
“I’m deeply saddened & stunned to share that she was found deceased,” Hendrix also tweeted. “Pls send her friends & family love. ????.”
