Lisa Rinna Opened Up About Her Concerns That Her Scandalous Teen Daughter Is Dating A 37-Year-Old

On last Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Rinna and the rest of the gang revealed just what they thought about Lisa’s daughter, 19-year-old Amelia Hamlin dating Scott Disick, 37, who shares three kids with Kourtney Kardashian.

Lisa Rinna was shocked to find out about their relationship.

While sitting in her co-star Erika Girardi‘s car, Lisa Rinna broached the topic of her daughter’s dating life, saying, “On another note, we can talk about my daughter, who is linked to a guy named Scott Disick, and I was like, ‘Okay, come on, right? Like, come on.'” Erika replied that she had “glanced over” a few articles about the couple.

Evidently, Lisa Rinna was also extremely surprised as her daughter told her that they were “just friends.” Rinna continued, “And then, I guess, a couple days ago, Amelia sends me a video of Amelia and Scott on the beach.” Lisa Rinna called learning that the pair were together a “what the f— moment” as “She’s 19, he’s 37 with three kids. Hello!”

She continued, “I only know Scott Disick from the Kardashians and Scott was with Kourtney, not married. They have three children. Oh, God.”

Lisa Rinna is “nervous” about Amelia dating Scott.

Erika said she was “a little nervous” about the news, to which Lisa replied that she’s “a lot nervous.” However, Erika tried to set realistic expectations for Rinna’s control over the situation, saying, “There’s nothing you can do. And the more you push, the bigger deal [it becomes]. Does [your husband] Harry [Hamlin] agree with that?”

Lisa explained, “Yeah, he does. You know, Harry was with Ursula [Andress] when she was 44 and he was 28” and that he’s “more calm” about the situation than she is. She tried to see the good side of the issue, saying, “Amelia has had her struggles in the press, but it’s now a new headline. No one’s talking about the eating disorder anymore and you know what, thank God. As a mother, I’m like, ‘Good.’ This gives her another label to deal with.”

However, Lisa hopes that their relationship is a “phase” for Amelia so she doesn’t “want to bring attention to it” and make it a bigger deal than it is.

Later in the episode, Erika explained that her perspective came from experience as, “I was the daughter that was dating older men all my life.”
