Luke Combs Admits He’s ‘Sick to His Stomach’ Over Lawsuit Disaster

Country music star Luke Combs is addressing reports that he is suing a single mother for the tumblers she created and sold for some extra money to help with recent medical bills.

According to initial reports, Nicol Harness learned of the lawsuit after spending days in the hospital for congestive heart failure. She was admittedly stunned that the 18 tumblers she sold could illicit a lawsuit from the Grammy-nominated singer.

“It’s very stressful. I don’t have money to pay my bills,” she said at the time. “I just want this resolved. I didn’t mean any harm to Luke Combs. I quit selling the tumbler. I pulled it down. I just don’t understand.”

Harness used her Amazon store to sell her products, which was her main source of income.

However, as Combs revealed in a recent TikTok video, he had no idea about the lawsuit until he saw videos about it on social media.

Combs admitted he was “sick to his stomach” over the lawsuit, adding that the company who sued Harness is there only to sue multi-million dollar corporations who use his likeliness without his permission.

Combs said he had no idea how Harness’s small business got wrapped up in the lawsuit. Despite only making less than $500 in sales, the company sued Harness for $250,000 and froze all her assets in the process.

“I’m so apologetic,” Combs said in his statement, saying he has personally talked with Harness. “It makes me sick honestly that this would happen, especially at the holidays. I can’t imagine.”

The singer went on to add that he is doubling the amount of Harness’s assets that have been frozen so that she’s not worried about cash and has created a tumbler of his own. The proceeds of the tumbler being sold on his official website will go straight to Harness.

Harness has not publicly addressed Combs’ response, but as the singer revealed, he did invite Harness and her family to another show so that they can meet in person.

“Money is the last thing on my mind – and I invited Nicol and her family out to a show this year so I could give her a hug and say sorry in person.”

Kudos to Combs for addressing this so swiftly.
