One of the stars of the Australian reality series Bride and Prejudice, Micah Downey, died suddenly at just 26 years old. The son he was expecting with his ex-fiancée has since been born, just one month later.
As People reports, Micah’s ex-fiancée Milly Johnson gave birth to their second child on January 27 and shared photos of the baby boy on social media. The former couple also shares a son named Julian.

Additionally, the mother announced that she named the newborn after his late father. The baby boy’s full name is Micah Harper Johnson. Milly wrote on Instagram, “Feeling so much love for a little life that I delivered into the world on Monday, 27 January 2020 at 6:46 P.M. A healthy baby boy weighing 3680g (8 Pounds).”

At the time of the reality star’s passing, Milly took to Instagram to share the tragic news. Micah passed away on December 28, 2019.
“It is so sad and unbelievably surreal that I am making this post. I am struggling to put into words how sad and heartbreaking this is,” Milly wrote. “I just hope he is at peace wherever he is and that he will always be watching over his babies. A bad, bad dream. I can’t believe you’re not here. Rest In Peace, Micah.”
The reality show Bride and Prejudice documented the couple’s attempt to win the support of Milly’s mother. However, in November 2019, the couple decided to split up during filming, before their wedding ever took place.
Milly explained her decision to end her engagement to Micah on Instagram. She wrote, “Leading up to the decision I made, I felt sick, heartache, deep sadness and then I just felt numb. Breaking up with someone is awful and also a very private moment.”
“In our case, it was done with many eyes on us on national television. Not easy,” Milly continued. “We had been on and off for some time. I loved him. He is the father to my son and baby on the way. It was such a hard decision to make, not only breaking off the wedding but also breaking up with Micah for the last time. Everything I hoped and dreamed for just came [crashing] down.”

Micah’s cause of death is still unknown. However, Milly has made mention of what it was like to be in a relationship with a person who suffers from addiction.
