Popular Mom Influencer Announces the Tragic Passing of Her 3-Year-Old Son

A popular lifestyle influencer Laura Merritt Walker has made a devastating announcement.

In an Instagram post shared with her many followers, the mom of three announced her 3-year-old son Callahan’s passing following a “tragic accident.” The family wrote they are “completely broken-hearted.”

“We are completely broken-hearted to share that we lost our precious Callahan in a tragic accident last week. He was such a blessing and brought so much joy to our whole family,” the influencer and her husband, David, wrote in their statement.

“Cal-Bear was absolutely adored by his big brothers and loved them beyond measure. As parents we are completely shattered at the loss of our baby boy. We take comfort knowing he is being held in the arms of Jesus. We would be honored to have your prayers for peace and strength over our family during this impossible time.”

In a separate statement, shared on their Instagram Stories, Laura and David thanked their followers and community for all the love following Callahan’s tragic passing. “We are humbled by the love and support of this community. Thank you for your love, messages and prayers for the whole family.”

“We cannot tell how grateful we are and how they are helping carry us through the impossible. With all our love and appreciation, Laura & David.”

While Laura and David have refrained from sharing any details regarding the traumatic experience, E! News reports that the Frisco Texas Fire Department responded to a call involving a child who drowned, which involved the Walker family.
