One Mother’s ‘Desperate Prayer’ On Homeschooling Is the Humor We Need Right Now

Mother and comedian Brandalyn Shropshire recently shared a video most parents can totally relate to right now titled: “The Prayer of a Desperate Mother.”

In the comedic video, Brandalyn took to Facebook on March 18 to share her struggles about how difficult it has been homeschooling her kids.

The video is half actual prayer, half stand-up routine, with lines like: “Lord God, the spirit of Common Core has attacked our household.”

Since the footage was shared, it has garnered an impressive 9.7 million views.

“Father I am a child of God. What I am not is a homeschool teacher,” she begins.

Many were quick to praise the comedian for her relatable and down to earth quips.
