After experiencing a terrifying crash, NASCAR driver Ryan Newman, also known as the “Rocket Man,” has been released from the hospital. The moment was captured in a heartwarming photo of the driver with his two daughters, Brooklyn and Ashlyn.
Ryan miraculously was able to leave the hospital only 48 hours after his crash that occurred during the last lap of the Daytona 500 and his family couldn’t be more grateful.

The crash sent Ryan’s car airborne and it eventually crashed into another car and landed on its roof. Rescue workers quickly removed him from the car and he was rushed to the hospital, leaving NASCAR fans in shock.

According to his team, Roush Fenway Racing, shortly after the devastating crash, Ryan was “fully alert and walking around Halifax Medical Center.” The statement continued, “True to his jovial nature, he has also been joking around with staff, friends. and family while spending time playing with his two daughters.”
Roush Fenway’s president also shared that they “owe a debt of gratitude to many people for what transpired over the last few days but a special thanks to the incredible care and attention from the staff at Halifax Health Medical Center.”
Ryan’s estranged wife Krissie Newman shared a touching video of her husband walking out of the hospital hand-in-hand with their two daughters. She captioned the video, “Best sight ever!!!” The amicable co-parents recently announced that they are separating after 16 years of marriage.
