On November 13, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ star receiver Zay Jones was taken into police custody.
According to several reports, Jones has been booked on charges of domestic battery causing bodily harm. Little to no other details are known regarding the NFL star’s arrest at this time.
According to TMZ, the Jaguars organization has been made aware of the arrest but due to being “in the midst of gathering information,” the organization said, “we will have no further comment at this time.”
Jones is reportedly still in police custody as of the morning of November 14. Reports state he will remain in custody until a court hearing that is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
Jones has only been able to play three games so far this year due to a knee injury he sustained early on in the season.
