Nick Cannon is revealing just how much money he spends a year as a father of 12.
In a new interview, Cannon admits he spends a lot of time at Disneyland because his young children love it, BuzzFeed reports. And because he shares his children with several different women, they can’t all go at the same time. As a result, Cannon says he goes to Disneyland at least once a month and the amount of money that costs him is astronomical.
According to Cannon, he spends around $200,000 a year on trips to Disneyland.
As the father of 12 explains, the tradition started when Cannon used to work for Disney and the trips were free. Cannon used to host Disneyland’s Christmas morning parade from 2009 to 2019.
“I used to get that Disney bag. They were perks. All that stuff was free. It’s no longer free, and I only had two kids then…to move around Disney, I’m probably spending $200,000 a year at Disneyland.”

During the chat – which lasted approximately 90 minutes – Cannon was asked how he splits his time between his 12 children. While he definitely makes time for each of them, he admitted to spending the most time with his daughter, Onyx, who he shares with former The Price is Right model, LaNisha Cole.
“I’m with her at least three times a week, for the full day. But I don’t put that out there in the media, social media [because] it’s not for them. But you know, LaNisha and I have a super strong understanding and our co-parenting operation is so solid,” Cannon said of his 8-month-old daughter and her mother.

Nick Cannon went on to reveal that he spends practically all day with Onyx on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Even if he’s busy or is on set, he says his daughter is ‘right next to me.’ And he’s not kidding, either – he had a nursery built in his office to ensure he spends as much time as possible with her.
He went on to explain how it’s nothing against any of his other children because most of them are in school most of the day, but he also credits the ‘solid’ co-parenting relationship he shares with Cole as a primary reason he spends so much time with Onyx – adding that they see her an equal amount of time.
“Not against all my other kids because all my other kids, they’re in school, they’re babies, as well as Onyx, but the fact that I appreciate that LaNisha gives me the respect enough to allow me to have [Onyx], really, as equal amount of time as [LaNisha] does,” he said during the interview, which was released on May 8.
The interview was full of sound bites and interesting topics, including what Cannon’s ex-wife, Mariah Carey, thinks of his 12 children – two of which he shares with the talented singer. Surprisingly, the two share a very close relationship and communicate regularly – and she approves of his growing family!

Like we mentioned above, Nick Cannon has fathered at least one child with six different women – four of whom he shares multiple children with. While having 12 children is a challenge all on its own, having to co-parent those children with six different women only makes the challenge that much more difficult.
He makes it work, but he’s not perfect and he’ll be the first to admit it. During his interview with Jason Lee, he revealed an embarrassing mistake he made on Mother’s Day. To show his appreciation for the mothers of his children, he decided to send each of them a personal and heartfelt hand-written note.
Things were going well until two of the mothers accidentally received the wrong card. “I tried my best, I really did,” he said in his defense. “So then as I’m writing the handwritten message, I get the cards mixed up. And then so when one baby mama reads the card about how I feel about the other baby mama…”

It’s not a mistake many people can relate to, but that’s because not many people are in a similar situation. Nonetheless, he believed it to be a romantic gesture. “But I thought it would be really, really good to — you know, I could buy, whatever you know — to show people how you really feel, write it down,” he said.
