Nicki Minaj Talks About Her Decision To Raise Her New Baby Without a Nanny

Rapper Nicki Minaj recently gave birth to a baby boy in September and she’s talking motherhood with her fans on Twitter. One person suggested that the star get a nanny to help with her little one, who she shares with husband Kenneth Petty, because Minaj is greatly missed by her fans.

Nicki has understandably taken a step back from her career to focus on her newborn and let her fans know that she hasn’t yet hired a nanny. “Everyone tells me that. Lol. I rlly should get one. Difficult decision tho,” she tweeted.

In a relatable moment, the new mama shared that she’s having a tough time multitasking. “Last night I tried to tweet while I was feeding him. He looked @ me & said ‘absolutely TF NOT. He wants his undivided attention chile,” she said.

Minaj has clarified that she isn’t done with music. “I love music and interacting with fans, so I can’t really see taking myself completely away,” she told Billboard. “But I want to be open to other possibilities in my life. I do believe it is important to become a woman outside of the magnifying glass.”
