The federal judge has worked on a handful of high profile cases over the years, including the case against disgraced pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Theresa and Joe Guidice, and she sentenced “a Crips gang member to 15 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute heroin.”

Now authorities believe that the suspect responsible for shooting Salas’ son and husband may have also been targeting another female judge, People reports. He was also being sought after by California authorities, who say he is a suspect in the fatal shooting of another attorney, 52-year-old Marc Angelucci, all the way across the country.

The suspect has been identified as a self-described “anti-feminist” lawyer, 72-year-old Roy Den Hollander. Den Hollander was found dead as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound as New Jersey police closed in on him. According to NBC News, Den Hollander was also recently diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Angelucci, who also described himself as an “anti-feminist” attorney, was also fatally shot by an individual dressed as a delivery person.

When authorities found his body, a photo of New York State’s Chief Judge Janet DiFiore was found on his person. This has lead investigators to believe that Den Hollander may have been targeting DiFiore, although that theory cannot be confirmed.

Also found nearby was a FedEx package addressed to Salas. However, the contents of that package remain private for now. One fo the books specifically calls out Salas for being “lazy and incompetent.”
