Alecia Beth Moore Hart, known professionally as Pink, was a proud mother when she kicked off her 2023 Pink Summer Carnival Tour on June 7. At one point during her performance, the 43-year-old mother of two was joined on stage by her 12-year-old daughter, Willow Sage, who sang ‘Cover Me In Sunshine.’
The moment was shared by Pink’s husband and Willow’s father, Carey Hart – who wasn’t in attendance, but hopes to see the show for himself in the coming weeks. The tour began on June 7 at the University of Bolton Stadium in England and is being followed by 60 more shows – concluding on March 19, 2024.
“So proud of Willz to get up on stage w/ mama @pink !!!!! Must be a surreal moment for mama to have w/ her lil girl on stage. Looks like 1st show of the tour kicked a**!!!!! Can’t wait to catch up end of this month and see for myself. Summer is grind time,” the proud father of two wrote in the caption on Instagram.

And when Willow Sage isn’t on-stage performing, she’s backstage working. In February, Pink revealed that her two children will be traveling with her as she tours and her daughter, Willow, has secured a job on the tour that pays just over minimum wage. She’s even teaching her child the art of pay negotiation.
“I said it’s about $22.50 a show depending how long I go, if I run over. She goes, ‘I’ll take $20. it’s easier to do the math.’ I’m like, ‘That’s not how you negotiate for yourself.’ I’m like, ‘You’ll take $25 so it’s easier math,'” she said on the TODAY Show – it was her first appearance on the show in more than a decade.
She also talked about her ninth studio album, Trustfall, and, more specifically, the song Turbulence from the album – dedicated to teaching her daughter about anxiety and walking her through those emotions. Her favorite lyric from the song? “Even you say you can’t, I will watch you dance through this turbulence.”
Her daughter’s recent performance in England comes six months after Pink shared a clip from Willow’s first recital – where the then-11-year-old sang ‘The Rose Song’ by Olivia Rodrigo. “I’m crying!!!!! what a special girl,” Rodrigo wrote in the comments – Willow’s beautiful voice came as a surprise to many.
Pink Still Has 50 More Shows to Go
To say the 2023 Pink Summer Carnival tour is massive would be an understatement. It all began on June 7 and now nearly three weeks later, she’s only 10 shows in and still has 51 more to go – the grind is real! The good news is she’ll still get plenty of family time and her husband will continue to support from afar.
Her most recent performance was on June 24 at Hyde Park in London with several guest performers – including The Script, Gayle, KidCutUp, and Gwen Stefani. They’ll be hitting up Hyde Park one more time on June 25 before the group (minus Stefani) continues on to the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany.
