Elsa Hosk, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tom Daly, has enjoyed the slower pace of life while pregnant.

“I also think it was the first time in my adult life where I didn’t have much work related stress or traveling and that was great for my body.”

The model says she “gained more than the ‘recommended’ for my weight” but that she’s “not worried about it! It’s what my body needed to have a healthy pregnancy :)”

“This year brought more change than I thought I could handle… the world turned upside down and we were uncertain, scared, we suffered loss, we learned about each other more than ever even though we couldn’t see each other,” she shared on Instagram. “The silver lining in all of it for me was having the time and silence to reflect and find out what was truly in my heart. We decided to have a baby. I sold my apartment in NYC. Bought the house of my dreams and moved across the country to LA.”
