Rachel Platten is asking fellow mamas, friends and followers alike to give her a word of encouragement while she steps into a new season of life.
“Could you guys keep us in your prayers today? I am struggling a little bit, just so pregnant and overwhelmed and [I am] trying to support my family and scared to add another baby when this already seems like too much sometimes with my career. Oy.”
Pregnant Rachel Platten Asks For Advice: ‘I Am Trying To Be Brave’
“The mean thoughts are getting to me even though I KNOW they’re not true. I love being able to GIVE love and light but, right now, I’m trying to be brave and ask for some. Ok thanks so much, I love you. Just any words of love and wisdom you feel called to share, I’m trusting that’s what I’m meant to hear. Thank you.”
And users did not hold back.
One user commented, “You are enough. And you are doing enough. And you are exactly what your family needs. Sending so much.”

While another said: “I know this feeling!! One foot in front of the other. As someone very wise told me, just keep f***ing going. The storm will pass and you’ll catch your breath. You’re a wonderful mama and you got this.”
Followed by: “sending you so much love. one breath at a time. you have everything you need within you and the entire universe supporting you. you don’t have to do any of it perfectly and there is grace for it all.”
The mama then posted once more to Instagram, thanking all of her followers for the love and support.

“After a brutal couple of weeks of keeping so much fear and stress on the inside and thinking it was all on my shoulders, it was amazing to be reminded of how much love and support there is out there. THANK YOU so so much. Your words moved me to tears. (Well, more tears lol).”
“And not gonna lie, even though i had a little vulnerability hangover after sharing so deeply, (sometimes i forget I’m a public figure and just blurt out my feelings) but it didn’t last long. Because my biggest takeaway was wowww there’s a lot of love to go around in this world. Not just for me but for all of us. And when we are brave enough to talk about what’s hurting and ask to be supported, we make room for love to come flooding toward us.”
“Sometimes its a little easier to be the strong friend and be there for someone else (at least for me), but maybe then that’s denying loved ones the opportunity to feel the same wonderful feeling of giving. They want to feel like they have something to give too. And the amount of beautiful wisdom you shared with me proved that this is a two way street, we have to help and support each other, cause that’s when life is the most beautiful.”
