Prince Harry knows Queen Elizabeth will be okay following the passing of her beloved husband, but he admits he misses his grandfather, Prince Philip “more for her.” As Mamas Uncut reported, Prince Philip died earlier this year, in April, just shy of his 100th birthday.
Now in a documentary celebrating Prince Philip’s life, Prince Harry is quoted talking about his grandfather and his relationship with his grandmother. As People reports, in the documentary Prince Harry said he misses Prince Philip’s “sense of humor.”

However, he also says that he also misses his grandfather “more for my grandmother because I know how incredibly strong she was with him there.” Harry also called him and his grandmother “the most adorable couple.”
“To me, knowing the cheekiness of him and knowing that behind what the world sees you have two individuals who were very much in love and both, from a very young age, have dedicated their lives to service — that is an incredible bond between two people.”
Harry even got a bit animated while talking about the Queen and her prince as a couple. While talking about the Duke’s love of flying planes, Harry impersonated the way the Queen acted while flying with her husband.
“I can just imagine my grandmother sitting in the back of a plane having a cup of tea, going through turbulence and going, ‘Oh, Philip! What are you doing?’”
While several members of the royal family including Prince William offered interviews for the documentary, Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, and the Queen did not. And none of Prince Philip’s great-grandchildren were involved either.
The documentary titled Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers is set to premiere on Wednesday.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to make their first public appearance in New York City this weekend since welcoming their baby girl Lilibet in June. They are set to make an appearance at Global Citizen Live on Saturday.
The public still has not met Lilibet and it is unclear if Harry and Meghan will ever share a photo of their little one. It’s been reported that they will be making their trip to NYC a childless one.
