At 1:10 a.m. on Monday, a Texas father, Randy Horn, shared a strange photo on Facebook showing blood spatter covering a cement floor.
The next morning, Horn and four members of his family were found shot to death at their Polk County home, according to Click2houston.

Police are now working to investigate whether the photo shows part of the crime scene and if Horn can be considered a suspect rather than a victim.
Dad Randy Horn shared a strange photo to Facebook the day before his family was found murdered.
Horn was found dead around 10:30 a.m. on Monday in addition to his wife, 27-year-old Ashley Delaney, their daughter, 15-month-old Ranley, and Ashley’s grandparents, 74-year-old Carlos Delaney and 72-year-old Lynda Delaney.
Lynda, Ashely, and Ranley were found outside the home. Horn and Carlos were found inside.
Ashley’s mother was also in the home but was unharmed. She is not considered a suspect, according to People. She locked herself in a bedroom and called for help in the morning.
As of now, police have not disclosed details of the shooting but said firearms were found inside the home.
Authorities are aware Horn posted a photo showing blood in the hours before the killings.
He captioned the image:
And this is why i can’t be out in the bars at night….blood on the floor!
It’s unclear if the photo was taken in the home or at another location, Chief Deputy Byron Lyons said:
“We are aware of the Facebook page made by Randy Horn, we are in the process of trying to determine if that actual picture that he took is part of our crime scene here or did it take place at a location that he was at last night.”
Lyons stated that killings appear to be a murder-suicide, but did not confirm who the suspected killer is. He added:
“At this point we’re not going to say what we’re working is an apparent murder-suicide, because we really want the medical examiner’s office to look at all the evidence that has been gathered to able to make a determination. I don’t want to be premature about by calling it one thing and then have to retract it.”
It’s unclear what led up to the shooting and currently, no arrests have been made. Lyons said this has been a shock for the community:
“This is a horrible, horrific scene. A horrible crime. What I would ask is that the community will pray. This is something that we’re not used to.”
