Fans of Michael Strahan and Good Morning America are finally getting some answers.
For the last several days, GMA has looked very different with co-host Michael Strahan missing from his usual seat. According to People, Strahan has been absent from the show since late October.
Now, a statement from ABC to People reveals why Strahan has been missing. “Michael Strahan will not be with us this week as he is dealing with some personal family matters.”
While the statement didn’t go into detail about the family matter, ABC did conclude the statement saying, “We appreciate everyone’s thoughts and concerns.”
Fox Sports also confirmed Michael has been dealing with “a personal family matter” as his college Curt Menefee explained why the retired NFL star was not present on their show either.
The father of four has been silent on social media as well.
This is a developing article. Mamas Uncut will update this article as new information becomes available.
Our prayers are with Strahan and his family. We hope everything is okay.
Michael Strahan has settled claims against his ex-wife that she abused their 16-year-old twin daughters. The former NFL star alleged that Jean Strahan engaged in a “pattern of abusive conduct” toward daughters Sophia and Isabella.
According to court papers, the former couple, who officially divorced in 2006, have now settled on a shared custody agreement. The girls have been living with their mother in North Carolina, but she has agreed to obtain a New York City apartment so that the girls can attend high school in the city where their father resides.
Good Morning America’s Michael Settles Claims Against Ex-Wife
The parents have a history of taking their disagreements to court, with Jean alleging that the “Good Morning America” co-host owes her annual cost of living adjustments to the child support payments.
The famous father of twins has claimed that his ex was not only physically and emotionally abusive towards the girls, but that she also failed to bring them to court-ordered therapy sessions and let their children miss extracurricular activities like horseback-riding and volleyball games.
Here’s hoping the exes will put their differences behind them and co-parent in a healthy and peaceful fashion for the sake of their daughters.
