TV Host Ricki Lake and her fiancé Ross Burningham finally found the right ring!
If you remember, Ricki Lake first announced her engagement on February 20 in an Instagram post. The caption read, “Friends, I’m so so so excited to share some good news! I’m engaged! This is Ross. He is my person. He is wonderful. I love him very much and I am so grateful I get to love and be loved so deeply by this stellar human.”
Ricki admitted that initially, the relationship was “a booty call for a few months there” during an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. But now it has blossomed into so much more.
Ricki Lake also said on the show that for the actual engagement, “I was naked in the jacuzzi with my man on the first night that we’re in my new Malibu home. So it was romantic and very spontaneous and I couldn’t be happier.”
However, Ross didn’t have a ring yet. But that all changed yesterday!
Lake posted a photo of her new bling to Instagram, captioning it, “Well, friends, he put a ring on it! #Engaged to my magnificent king. I am officially the happiest woman in the land. My dear Ross, I choose you today and every day!”
Experts estimated the value of the ring to be over $50,000. However, according to Page Six, CEO of The Diamond Pro, Mike Fried, estimated that the ring is worth upwards of $100,000 depending on the quality of the diamond.
But most important of all, the couple is incredibly happy together. When talking to People, Lake said that “Ross and I literally pinch ourselves that we have found each other at this time in our lives. Both of us, newly empty-nesters, we feel as if we are kids again. We are filled with gratitude and joy for what is to come.”
