Congratulations are in order! Ryan Lochte, 34, and his wife, Kayla Rae Reid, 27, welcomed their second baby, daughter Liv Rae Lochte, on Monday, June 17 at 10:20 a.m.
Liv weighed 7 lbs, 8 oz. and measured 20 inches long. Lochte announced their newest arrival on Instagram, sharing an adorable photo captioned, “Miracle #2 witnessed. She is perfect in every way!” Reid posted a collection of family photos, saying “We did it!!! A healthy baby girl. Liv Rae Lochte you’re so sweet and so beautiful.”

A few days later, Lochte also shared this adorable snap of his new “princess”:
Reid also made the announcement via Instagram with a post-birth hospital photo and caption that begins, “We did it!!! A healthy baby girl…”
Lochte and Reid married in January 2018 at their Florida home following the birth of their son, Caiden Zane, in June of 2017. The following September, the couple had a more formal wedding reception in California.
The 12-time Olympic medalist and his wife first announced they were expecting their second baby on Instagram in November, saying, “BOOM!!!! Baby number 2! Can’t wait to bring my fam of 4 to #tokyo2020.”
Before Liv made her debut, Reid shared a sweet Father’s Day message on Instagram, saying, “Happy Father’s Day to YOU honey. I love your desire and consistency to do anything you can to be your best for our family and yourself. We have always remained committed as teammates in this game of life and I am so thankful for that. I’ve never met a person with a bigger heart than yours. Caiden and I are blessed to have you. You’re an amazing father and I can’t wait to see you with our daughter!! We love you so much!!!”
