Being a mom requires women to have about eight arms, eyeballs on the back of their heads, and the ability to be in more than one place at one time. Sadly, because most humans do not have that many arms and eyes or the ability to split themselves in half, things happen.

And sometimes those things become parenting fails.

And as Ivanka Trump, President Donald J. Trump‘s oldest daughter expertly shared, it’s the village that helps parents raise their children that also helps prevent a lot of those near disastrous mistakes.

Ivanka’s village just so happens to include a secret service detail. Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner are the proud parents of three little ones; 8-year-old Arabella, 6-year-old Joseph, and 3-year-old Theodore.

In January, Ivanka shared two photos on her Instagram. The photos were taken within seconds of each other and showcased one of those near parenting fails we were just talking about.

As Ivanka explained to her Instagram followers, the photos show her her youngest, Theo, taking advantage of an opportunity that presented itself.

The mom of three said that while she was busy tending to one of her other children, Theo tried to make a break for it. Luckily, secret service was there, preventing “a major parenting fail.” Ivanka wrote:

“Theo busted attempting a stealth exit from AF1 last night while I was distracted prying melted M&Ms out of my daughter’s hands. Thanks to the US Secret Service I narrowly avoided a major parenting fail! Hat tip to the eagle-eyed photographers who busted my boy in action!”

Many thought Ivanka’s honesty and Theo’s actions were funny and pretty on-brand for most 3-year-old’s. One commenter wrote, “Lol! If not for the photo, he’d say, “no, mommy, I didn’t try to sneak out.”

And Sarah Sanders added, “Love this so much!” Do you want to share some of your funniest near parenting fails? Put them down in the comments below!
