Shawn Johnson is worried sick over her eldest daughter’s contagious diagnosis, as she just brought home a newborn.
Johnson, who shares 21-month-old Drew Hazel East and her newborn boy with husband Andrew East, is admitting the past few days have been overwhelming.
“Had some of the hardest and most emotional days of my life trying to take care of both my babies but isolating from Drew,” Shawn, 29, wrote on her Instagram Story on Thursday, July 29.
“I would just hear her cry out for ‘mama’ and my soul would crush. She’s being spoiled like crazy by Gamma and Gampa, on the right medications now so getting better, and I was actually able to get some sleep last night. Thank you for your prayers.”
Shawn continued, “Wanted to just take it away for her and for her to come home ASAP. Miss my baby girl and miss my baby girl cuddles.”

On Wednesday, July 28, just one day after welcoming her son, Johnson revealed to Instagram how Drew had contracted a “bad ear infection” and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), which she had battled earlier this year as well.
And while the respiratory virus is common among children, it is also highly contagious and can be fatal to small infants.
Earlier this week, Johnson posted a series of black-and-white photos taken by Gabrielle Hopkins that capture the sweet little family with their newborn babe, whose name has yet to be revealed!
“Welcome to the world little man! We love you so much!” the 29-year-old wrote alongside the snaps, which include a sweet moment shared with Drew.

Johnson also posted the new photos to her Instagram stories, as well as attached a new Youtube video to the family’s channel capturing the moments leading up to their son’s birth.
In the clip, viewers can see the couple’s sweet first moments with their little boy, who entered the world at a whopping 9 pounds 13 ounces and 21 inches long.
“We cannot wait to officially introduce him to you,” a caption at the end reads. “We are absolutely in love with our little man,” Johnson recently shared with E! News.
The couple, reveals how their daughter Drew is already a huge help with their little boy. “Drew is so sweet with him—you can tell she’s already such a great big sister.”
