It’s time to normalize shortness! No longer will we be made to feel shame because we can’t ride certain rollercoasters, or reach that kitchen cabinet over the refrigerator, or have a trusty stepping stool, step ladder, platform shoes, etc. No, we must turn to short celebrities to inspire us and remind us that no matter our stature, we can still loom large! After all, the best things come in small packages! Shorties, we’re like little treasures.
We wanted to get a better idea of the short celebrities that are right in front of our eyes so we consulted IMDB to get a better idea of the heights of certain celebs. We were shocked, shocked to learn that so many of the celebrities we were certain towered over others are actually short. Let’s take a look at some of our findings of the short yet sweet celebs who you likely never knew were short!

Here’s one of the short celebrities that was starring us right in the face. Lil’ Kim‘s got “lil'” in her name after all. Kim stands at just 4’11″. Despite not breaking five feet tall, Kim proved through the years that she’s not one to overlook. She’s a superstar!
Reese Witherspoon
One of the biggest names in Hollywood today, Reese Witherspoon, stands at just 5’2″. In addition to acting, the iconic star also has her own production companies (yes, more than one!) that are behind some of your favorite movies and TV shows.
Zoë Kravitz
Witherspoon’s friend, Zoë Kravitz, is the exact same height as Witherspoon. “I went through a really awkward phase. I was short and brown, surrounded by tall girls with boobs and blonde hair,” Kravitz told Elle about starting her career in the fashion and entertainment industries. “I didn’t have beauty as a crutch, and I’m thankful for that because I had to develop my personality.” She is one of the short celebrities we assumed was taller.
