We all have been there. We’re celebrating our birthday as a child and a brother, sister, cousin, or friend attempts to blow out the candles on our cake.
Well, that happened to one little girl earlier this month, and instead of just crying about her older sibling blowing out the candles on her cake, she took action. And the whole moment was caught on camera.

Video of Sister Beating Up Older Sister for Blowing Out Her Birthday Candles Goes Viral
The video was first shared by 3-year-old Maria Eduarda and 6-year-old Maria Antonia’s aunt, Gabriela Aureluk. Although Gabriela has since deleted the video off of her feed, it now lives on Twitter. Take a look:
So according to Gabriela, who spoke with Brazilian media outlet Hugo Gloss, Maria Antonia just wasn’t down with all the attention being on her little sister, Maria Eduarda. And that was evident by the look on her face as everyone sang happy birthday.
“I started shooting the congratulations and Maria Antonia was there with a frown, because she didn’t want to be singing congratulations to her sister, and Maria Eduarda was happy to be the center of attention at her birthday,” Gabriela explained.
It was sometime between when they started singing and just as they finished singing to Maria Eduarda that Maria Antonia devised the diabolical plan. She was going to steal the spot light and blow out her sister’s birthday candles.
And by the look on her face after she flawless executed the plan, Maria Antonia was very pleased by herself. What she didn’t realize was that her young sister was going to retaliate by viscously pulling her hair.
Now the video is going viral, much to Gabriela and her family’s surprise. “I don’t even have Twitter, we’re a little scared,” she said. “Instagram is booming, Facebook is booming, we don’t even know what to do. The mother is having a heart attack here.”
And while it may not seem like it, the Marias are very close, the aunt explained. “It’s that relationship of sisters. One hour they are slapping, the next time they are hugging.” So true.
