Six-Year-Old Survives Horrific Dog Attack That No One Saw Coming

On April 18, 6-year-old Camdon Bozell wanted a snack. However, on his way to retrieve food, his family’s dog, Chaos, attacked him.

It was an aggressive move that his family was stunned by. As Fox 17 reports, Bozell was being watched by his grandmother while his mom was at work. According to Cafe Mom, the grandmother was in the bathroom when she heard her grandson’s screams and rushed to pull the dog off of Bozell.

In an interview, Bozell’s mom, Tristin Lent, revealed that the attack was “completely unprovoked.” She then added that “this dog has no history of aggression. He’s used to being around loud, obnoxious kids.”

Bozwell suffered several injuries which resulted in stitches covering his face, a broken nose, and a fractured skull. “I got a phone call from the police, saying that he had been attacked by a dog, and was in an ambulance on his way to Bronson,” Lent told Fox 17, before revealing that due to COVID-19, her son had to ride in the ambulance alone.

Lent also revealed that their canine was a pit bull but she doesn’t believe his breed had anything to do with the attack. “I love pit bulls, I always have. Now when people are asking what breed he was, I just don’t want to answer them. I know once I say it’s a pit bull,” she said before trailing off.

“I couldn’t believe that this dog did so much damage to my son,” she said. “The dog had been around kids for its entire life and never shown any signs of aggression.” It still remains unclear what exactly provoked Chaos to react the way he did.

As the mom revealed, her son said “he’s glad he didn’t die and that he didn’t want to die. At six. So that just tells me what was going through his mind and what was going to happen, and that just breaks my heart.”

As of August 12, it is unclear what Choas’ future will be or where he is at at the moment.
