However, this time, a fellow Spanish speaker called her out and Sofia didn’t hesitate to clap back.
As the video shows, the interviewer called her out for how she said “Modern Family” in English, claiming that his English accent is better than Sofia’s.
Calmly and strategically, Sofia asked the interviewer how many Emmys or Golden Globes he was nominated for in the United States. Vergara has been nominated for 4 Emmys and 4 Golden Globes for her role in Modern Family.
Entertainment Tonight also points out that during her time on the popular show, she was the highest-paid actress in Television history. That’s a lot to stand on and be proud of!
