Mama June seems to be super happy as a new bride! According to reports, a deputy clerk for the Wilkinson County court office has confirmed to E! News that June Shannon and her new love interest Justin Stroud are married!
SURPRISE! Mama June Is a Married Woman
As Mamas Uncut previously reported, while promoting the newest season of her reality show on WEtv, Mama June revealed she has dumped her ex-boyfriend Geno Doak and has since found a new man. As it had been detailed over the last several years, June and Geno had a tumultuous relationship, one that involved heavy drug use and domestic assault. All of which lead to a public arrest back in 2019.
However, if you’ve been following her on TikTok you likely already got a glimpse of Justin, a tattoo artist, and Mama June together. The couple seems happy and enjoys pulling pranks on each other. What day they tied the knot exactly is unclear.
While talking with Mama June last month, TooFab revealed she met Justin, who is nearly eight years younger than she is, last year and they became friends first. “I actually met him on TikTok,” she revealed.

“People were coming in and out of my life and God opened up that door. You know, I’m not a bible thumper, but sometimes God opens those doors a couple of times and you never want to walk through them. So when I finally did, Justin came into my life when we both needed each other.”
In a separate interview with E! News, Mama June admitted, again, that Justin came into her life when she needed him the most. She said it was the little things he did that made her feel good about herself and about a potential life with him.
He had no idea what I was going through,” she shared. “He was texting me, ‘Hey, how are you doing? I was thinking about you today. Hopefully, you have an amazing day.’ And those small little text messages when you’re going through some trauma in your life, you don’t realize how much it is.”
Mama June also revealed she is still on her sober journey. She has revealed she has been sober for more than a year now.
It’s unclear how her children feel about her new husband. June’s relationship with Geno caused a lot of riffs between her and her daughters, Pumpkin and Honey Boo Boo.
Honey Boo Boo moved in with Pumpkin, Pumpkin’s husband, and their children during the height of June’s addiction. June has since revealed that her relationship with Honey Boo Boo is on the mend.
“Our relationship is going good. You’ll see that throughout the season. She is turning 17 in August. So that’s the thing, she is graduating next year. A lot of people still look at her as that 6-year-old little girl, but she’s [grown up].”
Mama June has not yet issued a statement announcing her nuptials.
