Sylvester Stallone Describes Himself as a Family Man in New Reality TV Show

Sylvester Stallone is giving fans a closer look at his life – both professionally and personally – in his new reality TV show, The Family Stallone. The first two episodes premiered on Paramount+ on May 17, and they’ve released an episode every Wednesday since – including a brand new episode on June 21.

In the latest episode, Stallone had just finished filming his newest project – a crime drama TV series called Tulsa King, which premiered on May 24, 2023 (one week after The Family Stallone premiered). Eager to put six months of filming in the rear-view mirror, Stallone returned home to his family in Florida.

His family, who are heavily involved with and featured on the show, consists of his wife, Jennifer Flavin Stallone, and their three daughters – Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 21. Stallone acknowledged his love for his family and admitted they’re all he really cares about right now – he’s a bit of a family man now!

“I’m looking forward to a new chapter of life, slowing down for a chance to spend some time with my girls. I won’t be around forever, and I certainly want to leave them with fine thoughts of their father — that he did the best he could to make their life as fruitful as possible,” he said in the newest episode of the show.

The settling down comes roughly 10 months after the couple announced their divorce (in August 2022) – they were filming the first season of The Family Stallone at the time. The couple reconciled in September and have found their happiness once again – they just celebrated their 26-year anniversary on May 17.

Later on in the episode, Stallone and Flavin meet up with their daughters for lunch – where fans learned that a screenplay written by Sistine had been picked up by MGM. While Sophia was hurt that her sister didn’t tell her right away, Stallone interjected and said they should both be happy for each other.

While the lunch was spent celebrating Sistine and her screenplay, they later took to a tiki boat to celebrate Sophia receiving positive feedback from a publisher about a book she wrote. It made Sophia feel a little better, considering she had been struggling with writing the book – giving her the validation she needed.

Sylvester Stallone Opens Up in New Interview

Sylvester Stallone has been making a lot of headlines with the release of his new reality TV show The Family Stallone and the release of his new show Tulsa King. And when he’s not filming a new project, he’s speaking with reporters and giving further insights into his lifestyle, his family, and what’s new.

In a new interview with The Wall Street Journal, which was published on June 19, Sylvester Stallone talked about everything from his favorite breakfast meal (avocado, four eggs, cottage cheese, three slices of watermelon, and grapes) to what skincare brand he uses to maintain healthy skin – Nivea for Men.

He loves coffee, but has to cut down on his consumption because of reflux. He still works out, but is limited to cables and bands due to his long list of surgeries. He describes his sense of humor as caustic and admits he loves trash-talking. He also admits he’s very protective of his daughters when dating.

As for the best advice he has received. “You don’t have to beat up on yourself. The world will beat up on you enough. Give yourself a break. I try to really see life with the eye of the tiger and a real sense of humor. It’s not easy, but without humor, this is not a fun place,” he said – wise words from a wise man.
