Tori Roloff Shares Update on Daughter Lilah
To share the health news, Tori posted an adorable photo of Lilah in her new pink glasses, saying that “she’s had it since birth” and that they are “trying glasses to hopefully fix her lazy eye and avoid surgery.”
She admitted that she has mixed feelings about seeing glasses on her sweet little baby, but she is adjusting to her daughter’s new look and feeling hopeful that having them will mean Lilah doesn’t need surgery down the road.
Friends, family, and fans rallied around Tori after she shared the news, including her mom Amy Roloff who wrote, “She’s awesome. The glasses look great on her!”
This isn’t the first time the reality star has opened up about Lilah’s health. In January, the TLC personality shared that Lilah had been diagnosed with dwarfism. Tori’s son Jackson also has achondroplasia, the same type of dwarfism that her husband, Zach, has.
Before sharing this most recent news, Tori and her family celebrated Halloween. She admitted that she’s not usually a big Halloween fan, but because Jackson has been into dressing up recently, she’s gotten into it a bit more.
She shared a cute photo of Jackson dressed as a pilot and Lilah as his co-pilot. “Captain Jackson and his co-pilot Lilah Ray! Ready for take off!,” she wrote the week before Halloween.
The family’s fall festivities didn’t end there. They celebrated the season by carving creative pumpkins ahead of Halloween.
Though the family is dealing with this stressful new hurdle, Tori seems optimistic about the diagnosis. “Really she does just keep getting cuter… love you sweet crossed eyed beauty queen!,” the loving mama wrote. We’re confident that no matter what happens, Tori and her family will get through this together.
