On the heels of rumors suggesting their marriage is on the rocks, Tori Spelling is speaking out. According to People, while a guest on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, Spelling address those marriage rumors.
The mom of five and stepmom of one talked to Lewis about whether or not there are problems at home. While broaching the subject, Lewis said, “There’s speculation that there are problems at home, but there are no problems at home. ‘Cause I feel like you would have told me if there were problems at home, right?”
Spelling candidly admitted that despite being good friends with Lewis, she wouldn’t have told him if she and her husband Dean McDermott were having issues because “then you spill my s*** right here. Of course, I’m not going to tell you what’s really going on.”

Rightfully so, Lewis began to ask follow-up questions, now concerned that something is going on in their marriage. “You put the wedding ring on. Are things okay? Because I feel like the last time you were here things were good, you were having sex. Are you guys sleeping in the same bed,” Lewis asked.
That’s when Spelling surprisingly admitted that there is no room in bed for Dean. “You know what, right now my kids and dogs sleep in my bed.”
Spelling went on to explain why that is. According to the mom, Dean had been away in another country for six months to film.
During that time, her kids had moved into their room to keep their mom company. However, now that Dean is back, Spelling admits that her kids haven’t moved out yet.
“Since he left – this is not good, you guys – but since he left, he was gone for six months filming in another country, they all stayed with me,” Spelling told Lewis. “So I currently still have four in the bedroom with me who have yet to go back to their rooms.”
Spelling and McDermott have been married since 2006. As People reported, their relationship began to struggle when he “admitted to cheating on Spelling in 2014.”
However, the couple did the work to rebuild. But was it enough?
“It was one of the worst times in our lives, but it was also one of the best times,” Tori said of that time in their life, according to People. “I wouldn’t change anything because if we hadn’t started talking and opened up those lines of communication, maybe we wouldn’t be here today.”
Spelling never clearly stated if the fact that their not sleeping together as taken a tool on their marriage. But for now, they are still together and still a family of 8.
