Firefighters Lt. Arthur Dean and Provisional Lt. Deann Eller of Akron, Ohio, were suspended on June 18 for allegedly making a passionate adult video in a fire station.
Dean and Eller don’t work at the same fire station, but are reported to be in a long-term relationship, according to USA Today. As the Akron Beacon-Journal reports, the pair was hired on the same day in September 2000.
Questions began to arise when video footage of their sexual encounter began to pop up online on multiple porn sites under the name “FireCouple11,” which has appeared to have been used since 2016.

Another Akron firefighter then reported it, according to WKYC.
Chief Clarence Tucker and Mayor Dan Horrigan of Akron, Ohio, called a news conference on Monday to address the incident.
USA Today said multiple videos were found on adult sites that had a naked woman, allegedly believed to be Eller, working out in a basement gym.
Tucker and Horrigan released a joint statement, which showed their discontent for the situation.
Part of their statement said:
We find these allegations shocking and distressing to say the least. The Akron Fire Department is composed of hundreds of committed first responders who comport themselves with dignity, professionalism, and the highest levels of integrity and dedication in their service to the Akron public. These courageous public servants put their lives on the line each and every day to protect the health, safety, and property of Akron citizens and serve as role models of duty and service across our community. These allegations bring unwelcome dishonor and embarrassment to Akron Fire Department and the City of Akron and unfairly discredit the reputation of other Akron Fire officers.
Tucker said additional consequences could be placed on the couple if the investigation on the incident reveals they broke any of the city’s anti-fraternizing rules, according to Akron Beacon-Journal.
