And on June 27, Vera Wang will turn 71 years old. Yep, we’re not kidding. We didn’t think it was possible to look like this at the age of 70, but Vera is proving everyone wrong.
So what’s her secret to staying so youthful looking? It’s so simple, it’ll probably make you mad.
According to The New York Post, while responding to a fan’s comment on Instagram, Vera revealed her secret to looking a lot younger than she is.
“…Work, sleep, a vodka cocktail, not much sun,” and there you have it.
As the mom of two explained, it’s that simple. The world started talking about the designer’s age last week when a fan freaked out after learning Vera Wang was 70 years old on Twitter.

Earlier in life, before becoming one of the most well-known and popular fashion designers, Vera was an athlete. Not only did she attend the American School of Ballet, but she also competed in the 1968 US Figure Skating Championships.
“Skating was a chance for me to express myself in a creative way. It was the blend of all worlds – music, dance, athletics, choreography and, of course, costumes. From an early age, I really fell in love with what a body could look like, what it could do, what you could express and how you could look.”
In fact, as Vogue reported in 2018, she was inducted into the US Figure Skating Hall of Fame. Talk about multi-talented! Maybe it’s because Vera Wang has been so busy her whole life, she just forgot to age.
