Woman Who Welcomed Baby With Robert De Niro Identified

The woman who welcomed a baby not too long ago with actor Robert De Niro has been revealed. According to multiple reports, the woman has been identified as martial arts instructor Tiffany Chen.

People reports that Chen and De Niro were first spotted together back in August 2021. However, the couple were first introduced to each other on a set of a movie back in 2015.

On May 9, while at the New York premiere of his new movie About My Father, De Niro addressed becoming a father at the age of 79, saying, “I’m okay with it. I’m good with it,” adding, it “never gets easier.”

It was his co-star Kim Cattrall who confirmed Chen was the mother of De Niro’s seventh child.

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, the actor first shared the news of the birth of his seventh child in an interview with ET Canada.

“I just had a baby,” De Niro revealed at the age of 79 after correcting the interviewer who asked him about being a father of six. And while De Niro dropped the major bombshell, he didn’t elaborate further.

De Niro didn’t mention who he welcomed the baby into the world with or if his 7th child is a boy or a girl. That piece of information does still remain a mystery.

De Niro is also a father to Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46, whom he shares with his first wife, Diane Abbott. He has 27-year-old twin sons Julian and Aaron with his former girlfriend Toukie Smith. And he shares 24-year-old Elliot and 11-year-old Grace with his second wife Grace Hightower, who he divorced in 2018.

De Niro is also a grandfather.

And when it comes to how he parents, while De Niro doesn’t like laying down the law, he knows sometimes you have to.

“I mean, there’s no way around it with kids. I don’t like to have to lay down the law and stuff like that. But, [sometimes] you just have no choice. And any parent, I think, would say the same thing. You always want to do the right thing by the children and give them the benefit of the doubt but sometimes you can’t.”

But while he’s also a “no-nonsense” kind of parent, he is also very encouraging. “For my kids, I tell them, ‘If you want to be an actor or you want to do this or that, that’s fine as long as you’re happy. Just don’t sell yourself short,'” De Niro told PEOPLE in January 2020.

“That’s the most I would say — push yourself a little more and reach for what you really think it is you want to do. Don’t be afraid. It’s important for them to find their own lane.”

He also doesn’t really consider himself a “cool father.” Instead, he thinks he’s simply “okay” as a dad.

“My kids disagree with me at times and they’re respectful. My daughter, she’s 11, gives me grief sometimes. I’ll argue with her, I adore her.”

Congratulations to De Niro and his growing family! We wish him nothing but the best!
