During an interview with the Daily Mail, YouTube star Nicole Thea‘s uncle revealed what killed his niece and her unborn child. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, on July 11, Thea passed away at 8 months pregnant.
Thea and her partner Global Boga were expecting a baby boy, who also did not survive. The news of their passing was revealed by Thea’s mother via Thea’s verified Instagram page.

“To all Nicole’s friends and supporters, it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning. Also Nicole pre-schedule a few YouTube videos and Boga has made the decision to allow them to be aired. As a family, we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened. Thank you her mum RIP My beautiful baby girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign, I will miss you for the rest of my life until we meet again in eternal heaven.”
Days after her passing was revealed, people grew curious as to how Thea’s died, seeing as though she was on social media the day she unexpected passed away. Now, her fans are getting the answers they’ve been searching for.
Nicole Thea’s Cause of Death Revealed
During an interview with the Daily Mail, Thea’s uncle, Charles Murray, revealed that the 24-year-old mom to be suffered a massive heart attack after complaining of chest and back pains. “She had it in her house,” Murray revealed. “And she was telling her partner that she had pains in her chest and her back. She was a dancer and we don’t think she had any underlying health problems. It is terrible — but we won’t know for sure until we have the post-mortem.”

As her mom shared in her statement, prior to her death, Thea had pre-uploaded a few videos to her YouTube page prior to her death that will ultimately go live posthumously. A few of those videos which showed Thea having a maternity shoot done and answering pregnancy questions have already been published. It’s unclear just how many videos her followers should expect to see.
