Seventeen-year-old Callie Kessler made a tearful confession after having her tonsils removed, People reports. And it’s catching the attention of two superstar athletes, including Aaron Rodgers.
Soon after waking up from her procedure, the teen was filmed, while she recovered in her hospital bed, professing her love for the Green Bay Packers quarterback.

In the video, Callie tearfully says, “I love him so much, he’s my best friend,” before someone in the background can be heard asking, “Who, Aaron?”
And that’s when Callie exclaims, “Aaron f**king Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers is the man, he always will be, and I love him. I want Aaron Rodgers to come, then my throat wouldn’t hurt … then we could be best friends forever.”

The Connecticut teen goes on to explain that her throat would no longer hurt if Aaron Rodgers was there because he would buy her 400 popsicles. Obviously, because as she said, they’re best friends.
Later in the clip, Kessler says through tears, “I honestly thought that I was waking up like him and that Aaron Rodgers was gonna be right there for me and he wasn’t.” The superfan eventually shared the video to Twitter along with the caption, “I guess you can say I love the packers even under anesthesia?”
The endearing tweet soon went viral and caught the eye of Rodgers’ girlfriend, former race car driver Danica Patrick. Patrick responded to the video, writing, “We would like to buy you 400 popsicles. DM your address. ???? We hope you feel better, but if you don’t, the popsicles should help a little!”
And the famous couple didn’t disappoint. As a follow-up tweet revealed, Rodgers and Patrick had two giant boxes of Otter Pops Original delivered to Callie’s home.
The thrilled fan posted a photo of her with the boxes of popsicles while in head-to-toe Packers clothing and as she stood in front of a shower curtain featuring a photo of the football star. “Thank you, Aaron Rodgers and Danica Patrick #gopackgo,” she wrote, adding, “Unreal!!!”

Just in case her supply of pops doesn’t last long, the brand Otter Pops got in on the fun as well tweeting, “And if 400 Otter Pops weren’t enough, we’re going to send you 400 more Giant Otter Pops! DM us.”
