Amber Portwood Admits She Can’t Count How Long It’s Been Since She Saw Her Daughter, Leah.

“Leah and I are still struggling with our relationship. My relationship with her has changed a lot. I haven’t seen her in quite some time,” Amber admitted while the cameras were rolling. “I can’t count the days,” she said when asked just how long it’s been since she’s seen Leah. “It’s just going to make me more depressed. I don’t understand why I’m getting treated this way right now. I’m not going to give up on her.”

According to E! News, several months ago, Amber blamed her relationship woes on Leah’s father’s wife, Kristina. At the time, Amber said, Kristina had gotten “in the way of me and my daughter.”

If you might recall, during last season, Leah said Amber Portwood “just birthed” her and then “left” her. Amber brought those comments up again during the premiere earlier this week.

Amber admitted to her own mother that those words her daughter spoke cut deep. “What she said about me was very hurtful.”

Even Amber’s mom admitted that Leah’s comments “shocked” her, and that’s when Amber said she believes “someone is in her ear,” seemingly referencing Gary and Kristina. “It’s not right,” Amber added.

Amber also told producers that she tried to see Leah on Easter, but her calls for quality time went unanswered. “I feel very stressed right now. A little sad. [Gary and Kristina] haven’t been answering any of my phone calls or text messages. I was ignored.”

“All I do is text Leah all the time,” she added. “I don’t get anything back. Never. Not anymore.” However, Amber plans to continue to fight for her relationship with her daughter. And we hope that things get better for them.
