There is no reason why a mom shouldn’t be incredibly proud of her postpartum body. And that’s why people are applauding model Ashley Graham for showing off hers while sharing the most adorable photos of her and her nearly 9-month-old son.
In January, Graham became a mom for the first time when she and her husband Justin Ervin welcomed their baby boy, Isaac Menelik Giovanni Ervin, in the world. And ever since becoming a mom, she has been open about her postpartum journey, but not so open about what her little boy looks like.

In a conscious decision, Graham and Ervin have chosen not to reveal their son’s face when they post photos of him on social media. But that also doesn’t mean the parents haven’t shared some of their best memories as parents so far.
On October 7, Graham took to Instagram to share several photos of her smiling with her son while wearing underwear and a cropped t-shirt. She captioned the photos with what can only be assumed is her son’s favorite song, “Baby shark doo doo doo doo doo.”
And while people gushed over how cute the mother and son duo are together, many were also quick to point out how great Graham looks and how refreshing it is that she shares her unedited postpartum body. “You look amazing,” one commenter added.
“Your postpartum body is so relatable. Also loving your new videos!!!” another person wrote, while someone else said, “I love your constant push to normalize bodies, embrace motherhood, and rock your sexuality. I’ve been afraid of all of this for such a long time. You’ve really encouraged me to put my plus size self out there.”
This is far from the first time Graham has preached body positivity. Just last month, she shared a quick video of her stretch marks with her hands in the shape of a heart around them. And each time, her followers express their thanks in the comments, their gratitude for her extending her confidence onto them.
