Chrissy Teigen has opened up about the most recent cosmetic procedure she had done. According to E! News, Teigen revealed via video on her Instagram Story that she had work done to her face, particularly her cheeks.
As Teigen revealed her doctor, Dr. Jason Diamond removed the buccal fat from her face. Teigen admitted that this procedure, paired with her decision to be sober, the results are something she’s really enjoying. And she’s not afraid to admit that.

“I did that Dr. Diamond buccal fat removal thing here,” she shared while pointing to her cheekbones. “And since I quit drinking, I’m really seeing the results and I like it. Yeah, I did it, what?”
Teigen said she has no shame in “her Dr. Diamond” game. According to PlasticSurgery.org, “the goal of buccal fat removal is to thin the cheeks, specifically in the area of the cheek hollows. Although a face that is naturally soft and filled out is considered youthful, some people find that their face feels too full, even chubby.”
The website further reveals that the procedure “removes the buccal fat pad, a naturally-occurring pad of fat in the cheek hollow area. The size of the buccal fat pad varies with each individual patient, and the buccal fat pad in each cheek may be different sizes.”
As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Teigen began her sober journey last year. Although she experienced a few bumps in the road, she recently celebrated 50 days sober. And she promised to keep working towards bigger goals.
She also admitted this was her longest streak yet. “I still dunno if I’ll never drink again but I do know it no longer serves me in ANY way,” Teigen wrote on Instagram.
“I don’t get more fun, I don’t dance, I don’t get relaxed. I get sick, fall asleep, and wake up sick, having missed what was probably a fun night. I had my fun with it and appreciate anyone that can enjoy it responsibly!!”
Teigen has been open about her cosmetic procedures in the past. One of those procedures included breast implants, which she removed 10 years later.
