Chrissy Teigen and John Legend reached peak social distancing after throwing their daughter Luna’s stuffed animals a destination wedding. Yes, you read that correctly. On Sunday, the celebrity couple hosted a wedding for their 3-year-old’s stuffed lamb Chloe and bunny Nosh.
They decided to “officiate a stuffed animal wedding” as a way to practice social distancing and keep the family entertained. Teigen shared details of the beachside ceremony on Twitter with updates throughout the occasion. According to Teigen, the bride began “freaking out” and messed up the entire schedule!
Chrissy Teigen updated fans about ‘the Wedding of the Century.’
For the festivities, Teigen baked a chocolate brownie wedding cake. Legend played his part as well by providing musical stylings for the event. As requested, he performed a cover of Selena Gomez’s “Can’t Keep My Hands to Myself.”
The ceremony included a much-needed respite in the form of a nap for all. The break was followed by a cake cutting and the best part, dancing. Destination weddings are sort of a pain, but with Teigen and Legend’s talents on offer, we’d make the trip!
On the eve of the big day, Chrissy Teigen tweeted a tease detailing her plans.

She let fans know that plans were being made and that they needed to save the date. She tweeted, “planning a wedding for tomorrow between a stuffed bunny and stuffed lamb. their song is ‘can’t keep my hands to myself’ and food will be peanut butter on little spoons.”
“Peanut butter on little spoons” sounds oddly appealing in this moment.
The tweet was followed by an official invite to the fete.
Teigen tweeted a romantic photo of the stuffed animals, Chloe and Nash, along with further details about the scheduled performance.
“You are cordially invited to the wedding of Chloe + Nosh,” the invite reads. “Sunday, March 29th. 10 AM on Instagram live. Special performances by John Legend and a recording of Selena Gomez.”
We were flattered by this charming invite.
Next, Teigen tweeted a short video of the culinary preparations for the event as part of a celebratory thread.
Watch as Teigen soothes your soul with cake batter stylings. Honestly, what’s better than watching someone bake?
In the video, Teigen says, “The bride and groom have requested fudge brownie cakes. Also, that’s all that we have.”
Teigen got caught up in the drama of the moment along with the bride.
After the wedding cake update, Teigen provided even more information detailing the drama of the proceedings.
“We’re running a little bit behind on the wedding,” she says. “The bride is freaking out. It looks like ten o’clock is an ambitious time. Maybe ten-thirty…” she says before the video cuts out.
Teigen assured guests that the new time for the wedding has been finalized.
“Not ‘maybe ten-thirty. It will be on at ten-thirty. Um. I’m going to try and get her out there, but right now, she’s not in a good place,” Teigen explains in the video.
Poor Chloe. Getting cold feet is totally normal!
Teigen shared a video of her husband helping with further preparations.
Teigen then posted a video of Legend, decked out in a robe aligning stones on their deck for the wedding aisle. Teigen can be heard laughing before she instructs Legend, “They need to be closer together! You can’t even tell it’s an aisle.”
The thread includes a picture of the delicious-looking wedding cake.

No wedding would be complete without a cake and Chrissy Teigen knows a thing or two about cooking. Of course, the cake looks perfect. She captioned the photo, “two tier.”
After a nap following the ceremony, the bride and groom cut their cake and it’s adorable.
One excited fan was eagerly awaiting the reception. They tweeted, “ready for the reception!! You said 10 minutes but its been much longer!! Hurry please; I’m so excited.”
When everyone awoke from their nap, it was time to cut the cake and Chloe and Nosh do so with a little help from mom and Luna.
Legend says in the video, “Oh wow. It’s the cake-cutting ceremony.”
Finally, Teigen shared a full video from the ‘Wedding of the Century.’
After all of the partying and eating plenty of brownie cake, Teigen posted a full video of the ceremony.
“The Wedding of Chloe and Nosh. In case you missed it, here is the full wedding between Luna’s two favorite stuffed animals. Tissues recommended,” Teigen captioned the video.
