Several days after John Legend revealed that he and his wife, Chrissy Teigen, welcomed their newborn baby into the world, the happy family of five is sharing more information!
As Mamas Uncut previously reported Legend first revealed the big news while on stage at a concert. Now, the confirmation has made its way to their Instagram pages.
Chrissy Teigen Shares New Photo and Details of Her 7-Day-Old Newborn
According to Teigen, their baby girl was born on January 13. This is the couple’s second daughter. They also share 6-and-a-half-year-old Luna Simone Stephens and 4-and-a-half-year-old Miles Theodore Stephens.
Teigen also revealed the name they choose for their baby girl alongside the most adorable photo of their two oldest children loving on her. “She’s here! Esti Maxine Stephens,” Teigen wrote.
“The house is bustling and our family could not be happier. Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love, and I am learning you still need diapers with a c-section!? We are in bliss. Thank you for all the love and well wishes – we feel it all!”
We couldn’t be happier for the Stephens family as they continue to love on their rainbow baby.
Teigen first announced the beautiful and hopeful news that they were expecting on August 3, 2022.
Alongside a photo of Teigen showing off her burgeoning baby bump, she wrote that “the last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again.”

This news came after Teigen and Legend suffered a heartbreaking loss in September 2020. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Teigen was about 20 weeks along when the son they were going to name Jack passed away.
Now, they are seeing the rainbow at the end of the storm.
Earlier this year, Teigen revealed she was going through in vitro fertilization (IVF) in an attempt to grow their family. Teigen and Legend are also the proud parents of Luna and Miles.
“[One] billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way,” Teigen’s announcement continued. “Every appointment I’ve said to myself, “ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.”
Teigen added, “I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok, phew, it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”
While opening up about her IVF journey, Teigen asked her followers to stop asking her if she was pregnant. “I honestly don’t mind the shots…” Teigen shared. “They make me feel like a doctor/chemist…but the bloating is a b—ch, so I humbly beg you to stop asking if I’m pregnant because while I know it’s said with excited, good intentions, it just kind of sucks to hear because I am the opposite of pregnant!”
“Congrats to you and your family !!! Sending you all the good thoughts and love,” Mandy Moore, who was also pregnant at the time, wrote. “Congrats! So happy for you guys,” Kim Zolciak Biermann added, while Kyle Richards wrote, “So happy for all of you!”
Over the last couple of years, Teigen has also embarked on a sober journey as well. It is another real part of life that Teigen continues to be open and honest about.
