Christina Hall and Ant Anstead Finally Reach an Agreement, Bringing Their Custody Battle to an End

For the past eight months, Christina Hall and Ant Anstead have gone back and forth in what has been quite an intense custody battle over their three-year-old son, Hudson. It all started in April 2022, when Anstead filed for full custody of Hudson – citing his mother’s lack of regular presence in the boy’s life.

It was a grueling eight months for all parties involved, but they can finally take a deep sigh of relief now that an agreement has been reached between the former couple. According to recent court documents shared by PEOPLE, Judge Lee Gabriel confirmed the agreement and signed off on it in mid-November.

Hall and Anstead began dating in 2017, shortly after Christina filed for divorce from Tarek El Moussa. She married Ant in 2018 and welcomed their only child together in 2019, but they split in 2020 and the divorce was finalized in 2021. Hall is now married to Joshua Hall and Anstead is with Renée Zellweger

When Christina Hall and Ant Anstead divorced, they were sharing joint custody of Hudson. After eight months of legal battle, court documents rule that things won’t change between the two – writing that the couple will “continue to have joint legal and joint physical custody” of their son in the foreseeable future.

As a result of the custody battle, Hall and Anstead have a new holiday schedule that they must adhere to moving forward – it went into effect this past Thanksgiving and will likely continue for the next 15 years or so (Hudson is 3 years old right now). The schedule was designed to be as fair and even as possible.

As explained in the court documents, Christina Hall will have Hudson for Thanksgiving, Christmas, one full week, and the 4th of July in even-numbered years. Likewise, she’ll have Hudson for Halloween and Easter during odd-numbered years.

If Hall and Anstead weren’t able to come to an agreement, they had trial dates scheduled for March 2023 that would’ve continued to drag this situation out and intensify the drama moving forward. Luckily, it won’t come to that as the trial dates have been canceled – just in time for the families to enjoy their holidays.
