Gwendlyn Brown, Daughter of Christine and Kody Brown, Discusses Her Parents’ Divorce and What She Really Thinks of Robyn Brown

Gwendlyn Brown, the 21-year-old daughter of Sister Wives stars Christine and Kody Brown is officially on YouTube after publishing her first video on Wednesday – a reaction video to Season 17, Episode 2 of her parents’ hit reality show. It comes after several of her siblings commented on the same episode.

In the episode, Christine Brown confronts her husband about the way he treats her and how he favors one of his other sister wives, Robyn. She later revealed she was moving to Murray, Utah with her youngest daughter, Truely – whom she shares with Kody. All of this while going through a divorce.

Christine and Kody share six children together – Aspyn, 27, Mykelti, 26, Paedon, 24, Gwendlyn, 21, Ysabel, 19, and Truely, 12. Christine announced her split from Kody in November 2021 after 26 years of marriage – most of which was captured in front of the camera. Kody is legally married to Robyn Brown.

In Gwendlyn’s reaction video, she spoke about her parent’s divorce from her point of view and even discussed how she feels about Robyn – candidly, might I add. She watches the episode from start to finish (for the first time) and gives her thoughts on how she felt about each moment as it occurred.

In regards to her parent’s divorce, Gwendlyn Brown was happy for her mother and even said ‘Good for you!’ when she found out. “I was all hyped for her. Obviously, I love her and I visit her all the time. But she was going home and I was happy for her. I didn’t love the relationship they had and she’s doing great now.”

As for Robyn, Gwendlyn admitted she was never really fond of her as a person, and watching the episode didn’t help at all. “I do feel less about Robyn from watching this but I feel like that’s not really fair because I don’t really like her as a person. Watching her makes me like her less as a person, for sure,” she said.

Gwendlyn also spoke candidly about her father – joking that he’s finally starting to realize how expensive all these children and wives are. She explained how he doesn’t reach out to her and her siblings too often, but has been making more of an effort lately. At the end of the day, she’ll always love her family.

Gwendlyn Brown Isn’t the Only Child to Speak Out

Gwendlyn might be the latest daughter of Christine and Kody Brown to speak out about the former couple’s divorce, but she’s certainly not the first. In the past few months, we’ve seen 19-year-old Ysabel and 26-year-old Mykelti offer their thoughts – and they were similar to how Gwendlyn said she felt.

“I think with my mom and my dad getting a divorce if I’m honest I did see it coming. But of course, I’m sad about it. I mean, sometimes it just doesn’t work out. And I’m happy that my mom will be able to find somebody who she’s really, really, really happy with,” said Ysabel in a Sister Wives confessional.

Mykelti was “honestly relieved when I heard my mom was leaving my dad. They’re not happy, they’re not in love,” while her husband, Antonio Padron, felt it was ‘inevitable’ – adding that he can’t imagine any man being perfect enough to be able to handle four wives.” The siblings all seem to be on the same page.

As for Gwendlyn Brown, she recently announced her engagement to Beatriz Queiroz on Instagram just a few weeks ago and is excited about spending the rest of her life with her. The news comes roughly four months after the two confirmed they moved in with one another. Now, they’re about to get hitched!
