This Is Why Honey Boo Boo Refuses to Move Back in with Mama June

Following a recent string of drug-related incidents, Alana Thompson, aka Honey Boo Boo, does not want to move back in with her mother, Mama June, until June’s boyfriend, Geno Doak, is gone for good.

Honey Boo Boo begged Mama June (aka June Shannon) to enter rehab and leave Doak after the couple was arrested for crack cocaine use earlier this year. Just this weekend, Doak was driving recklessly and crashed his car into Mama June’s garage. Footage shared by a neighbor showed him clearly under the influence and struggling to even get out of the car. Mama June came outside to help him but was unsuccessful. Despite Honey Boo Boo and her family’s emotional pleas for her to seek help, Mama June is still with her troubled boyfriend.

Following this weekend’s dramatic incident, sources close to Mama June shared with TMZ that Honey Boo Boo, 13, refuses to move back in with her mom until Doak is completely out of the picture and her mom enters rehab. Honey Boo Boo is currently living her with her older sister, Pumpkin, because she is afraid to live at home with her mom.

Sources told TMZ that if things continue down this path, Pumpkin is prepared to go to court and fight for custody of her sister. The same sources noted that Mama June has yet to express interest in getting her daughter back.
